Short interest for US stocks
Short interest is the number of shares investors have borrowed and sold, betting the price will fall, and not yet bought back. Brokers report it twice a month. Each settlement here comes with the shares short, the change on the settlement before, the average daily volume and the days to cover, which is how many days of normal trading it would take to buy them all back.
