sn_live_. - 3Add the key once
In any sheet, open Extensions > SN Data > Your SN Data key, paste the key and press OK. It stays in your own Google account.
- 4Type a formula
In any cell:
=SN("AAPL", "revenue", 2025). It returns 416161000000, Apple's revenue for fiscal 2025.
The =SN formula
=SN(ticker, figure, period, divisor). The ticker and the figure are needed; the period and the divisor are optional.
Two of the first three can be ranges, so one cell can fill a whole table.
=SN("AAPL", "revenue", 2025)One figure: Apple's revenue for fiscal 2025.
=SN("AAPL", "Gross margin", "TTM")A ratio by its name, for the last twelve months. Format the cell as a percent.
=SN(A2:A11, "revenue", {2022,2023,2024,2025,2026})One cell fills a table: ten companies down, five years across.
=SN("MSFT", "Free cash flow", , 1000000)Every year of Microsoft's free cash flow, in millions, with the years as a header row.
2025The company's own fiscal year 2025. Apple's ends in September, Nvidia's in January."TTM"The last twelve months."LY", "LY-1"The latest fiscal year, and the one before."LQ", "LQ-1"The latest quarter, and the one before."Q3 2026"A fiscal quarter.(left out)Every year, with the years as a header row.
Name a figure by its id (gross_margin) or its name ("Gross margin"). Percentages come as fractions, so format the cell as a percent to read 46.9%. Money and share counts come whole; the fourth value divides them, like 1000000 for millions.
