    What the company does

Accenture is a global professional services company that the filing calls a business reinvention and technology company. It sells the work of its people through consulting, managed services, proprietary assets and platforms, and increasingly, software. As of 31 August 2026 it employed approximately 814,000 people, served clients at any given time in more than 120 countries, had offices and operations in 52 countries, and had the majority of its people in India, the Philippines and the U.S. It serves more than 9,000 clients, including approximately three quarters of the Fortune Global 100 and 500 and every G7 government.

    How the work is organised

The services sit in one unit the company calls Reinvention Services. Inside it, seven Reinvention Partners each line up the firm's capabilities against one enterprise function or buyer: Cybersecurity, Digital Core, Finance, Industry and Enterprise, Song (marketing, sales, service and commerce), Supply Chain and Engineering, and Talent. Behind them, three Reinvention Engines build the skills and tools the partners deliver with: AI and Data, Industry and Process, and Technology, run through its Advanced AI and Data Centers, Intelligent Operations Centers, Global Delivery Centers and Accenture Technology Centers.
