What the company said with its results
The key points, guidance and management's own words from each of the last four results releases.
Key points
Sales rose 13%, 7% organic
Net sales were $343.9 million, up 13%. Acquisitions added 6 points and organic growth added 7. Adjusted EBITDA rose 10% to $74.0 million, a 21.5% margin.
Adjusted EPS rose to $0.82
Adjusted EPS was $0.82 against $0.78. GAAP EPS was $0.87 against $0.70, including a $0.05 net benefit from nonrecurring and restructuring items.
Tariff refunds lifted adjusted earnings
Adjusted earnings included a net pretax benefit of about $4 million, or $0.06 per share, from IEEPA tariff refunds. Management said adjusted EBITDA still rose without the refunds.
Joint venture equity income increased
Equity in net income of unconsolidated affiliates rose $3.9 million to $40.6 million, with WAVE up $2.7 million and ClarkDietrich up $1.4 million.
Building Performance Solutions sales up 16%
Net sales were $215.1 million, up 16.4%, with acquisitions adding $19.2 million. Adjusted EBITDA was flat at $59.8 million, with margin at 27.8% against 32.4%.
Water and European businesses drove organic growth
Organic sales growth in Building Performance Solutions came mainly from Water and European businesses, partly offset by lower Cooling and Construction revenue.
WAVE and ClarkDietrich income higher
WAVE equity income rose about $3 million to $35 million. ClarkDietrich rose more than $1 million to $7 million, while commercial construction outside data centers stayed soft.
Trade and Specialty sales up 8%
Net sales were $128.8 million, up 8.3%, on higher volume and higher average selling prices. Adjusted EBITDA rose $7.9 million to $24.0 million, with margin at 18.6% against 13.6%.
Underlying profit improved in Trade segment
Management said profitability improved in Trade and Specialty excluding the tariff benefit, particularly in tools and portable fuel. Balloon Time volumes fell against a strong prior-year comparison.
ASME tanks for data centers reached $13 million
ASME tank revenue for liquid cooling in data centers was $13 million in the quarter, essentially matching all of fiscal 2026. Management expects it to keep rising sequentially.
Pipeline is not revenue
Management said the pipeline is not revenue, that timing and conversion are uncertain, and that some opportunities run 18 to 24 months from a data center announcement to demand.
Liquid-cooling tank market estimate
Management said the ASME tank market has averaged plus or minus $200 million a year. Industry sources suggest the liquid cooling and thermal management tank market could be more than ten times the legacy market.
Data center exposure across several businesses
Management said revenues in WAVE, ClarkDietrich, Elgen and LSI are growing with data center proliferation. Collaboration across segments is rising, though management said bundling would overstate the approach.
Investment in capacity and partners
Management said it is investing in equipment, engineering talent and production capacity, and is working with partners that have existing capacity. Design and engineering services are part of the offer.
