    What the company does

Docusign sells software for agreements: eSignature for sending and signing documents electronically, contract lifecycle management (CLM), and the Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform, which stores a company's agreements in one repository and automates the work around them. It sells on subscription to businesses of every size, from global enterprises to very small businesses. As of January 31, 2026 it had over 1.8 million customers, including approximately 280,000 direct enterprise and commercial customers managed through its sales force and partners.

    The products

eSignature lets people send and sign agreements on a wide range of devices from almost anywhere, in editions and add-ons for different company sizes, industries and regions. CLM automates generating, negotiating and storing agreements and uses AI-powered analytics to find risks inside them. IAM, launched in April 2024, has eSignature at its core and runs on Docusign Iris, the company's AI engine. It adds Navigator, an AI-powered repository of a customer's agreements, Maestro, a no-code workflow builder, and tools such as Agreement Desk, AI-Assisted Review and AI contract agents. IAM comes in three editions, Core, Sales and CX. Add-ons include Payments, identity verification, Notary for remote online notarization, Web Forms and Monitor.
