What the company said with its results
From the second quarter 2026 results, filed 10 August 2026.
- Total revenue rose to $243.7 million. Second quarter total revenues, net were $243.7 million, against $110.6 million a year earlier, with U.S. Attruby net product revenue at $222.4 million.
- Attruby sales drove most of growth. The $133.1 million increase came mainly from a $150.9 million rise in Attruby net product revenue, with royalty revenue up $13.8 million.
- License revenue lower year on year. License and services revenue declined because the year-earlier quarter included $30.0 million of regulatory milestone revenue.
- Six-month revenue totals. Six-month total revenues, net were $438.2 million, against $227.2 million, with Attruby net product revenue up $294.8 million.
- Treatment-naive patients led growth. Management said growth was led by the treatment-naive segment as physicians increasingly start and keep patients on Attruby.
- Propensity-matched study versus tafamidis. An independent analysis of 286 patient pairs from TriNetX, published in JSCAI, associated acoramidis with 37% fewer composite cardiovascular events at six months.
- Further real-world studies expected. Management expects further independent real-world studies using electronic health records and said it is confident in superiority over tafamidis.
- Kidney protection data highlighted. Management described Attruby as the first ATTR-CM therapy associated with direct kidney protection, citing post-hoc analyses in Circulation: Heart Failure.
- eGFR and albuminuria results. Analyses showed an early reversible eGFR dip, an improved chronic eGFR slope versus placebo, and a 13.7% UACR reduction through Month 30.
- Larger eGFR dips linked to fewer events. Participants with larger eGFR dips had a 58% lower risk of death or cardiovascular hospitalization in year one; management said the kidney effect may contribute to early benefit.
- Outpatient heart failure worsening reduced. ATTRibute-CM data showed a 41% reduction in outpatient worsening heart failure versus placebo, with curves separating within 30 days.
- Operating costs rose $106 million. Total operating costs and expenses were $350.8 million, up $106.0 million on the prior-year quarter, mainly from SG&A and R&D spending.
- SG&A rose on dual investment. SG&A rose $57.1 million for Attruby commercialization and pre-commercial work on Phase 3 candidates; R&D rose $38.2 million for late-stage candidates.
- Cost of revenues tracks Attruby volume. Cost of revenues rose $11.4 million, which the company attributed to higher Attruby sales volume.

What the company does
BridgeBio Pharma, Inc. is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and delivers medicines for patients with genetic diseases. It has obtained FDA approval for three products, and more than 8,500 patients have been treated with its approved medicines. Its largest commercial product is acoramidis, sold in the United States as Attruby for transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM). Since inception it has generated 19 investigational new drug applications and contributed to more than 70 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
How the business is organised
BridgeBio runs a decentralised hub-and-spoke model. The spokes are program-specific teams responsible for research, development and scientific leadership for a single condition or product candidate. Each spoke is built as a minimum viable development unit with only the capabilities its program needs. The hub holds the shared functions: business and finance operations, clinical and regulatory expertise, and the commercial platform. The company says this lets it add or drop programs as data arrive. It also reports an average investment per program of less than 40.0 million dollars to proof-of-concept data.
What it sells
Attruby (acoramidis) is an oral small molecule that stabilises the transthyretin (TTR) protein. The FDA approved it in November 2024 for ATTR-CM in adults. As of 20 February 2026 the company counted 7,804 unique patient prescriptions in the United States and 1,856 prescribing healthcare professionals.
Outside the United States, acoramidis is sold as Beyonttra. Bayer commercialises it in all EU member states, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Turkey. Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, commercialises it in Japan. BridgeBio sells it directly in certain other international markets.
Two other approved products are not marketed by BridgeBio. Sentynl Therapeutics, Inc. acquired global rights to Nulibry (fosdenopterin) for molybdenum cofactor deficiency Type A in March 2022. Truseltiq (infigratinib) for cholangiocarcinoma had its accelerated approval withdrawn in May 2023 and is no longer commercially available.
What it is developing
Three programs have reported Phase 3 results that met their primary endpoints:
- Infigratinib is an oral FGFR1-3 inhibitor for achondroplasia. The PROPEL 3 study covered children ages 3 to <18 years. - Encaleret is an oral small molecule for autosomal dominant hypocalcemia type 1 (ADH1). The CALIBRATE study covered adults. - BBP-418 is an oral small molecule for limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2I/R9. Its FORTIFY interim analysis met all primary and key secondary endpoints.
The company says it plans to submit a New Drug Application to the FDA for encaleret and BBP-418 in the first half of 2026. It says it plans to submit an application for infigratinib to the FDA, and a Marketing Authorization Application to the European Medicines Agency, in the second half of 2026.
Earlier programs include infigratinib for hypochondroplasia, encaleret for chronic hypoparathyroidism, and BBP-812 for Canavan disease, which is in a Phase 1/2 study.
BridgeBio also holds minority stakes in two companies spun out of it. At 31 December 2025 it owned 27.5% of GondolaBio, LLC and 18.2% of BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics, Inc., which is listed on Nasdaq under the ticker BBOT.
Who buys and how it reaches them
In the United States the company built a sales force sized to call on all ATTR-CM treatment centers and on community cardiologists who treat the disease. Attruby is distributed through a limited network of specialty pharmacies, specialty distributors and third-party logistics providers. Patient support includes a co-pay program for eligible commercial patients, a Patient Assistance Program for uninsured or underinsured patients, and a free 28-day trial for new patients.
The company estimates about 240,000 ATTR-CM patients in the United States and around 500,000 worldwide.
How it makes and protects its products
Contract manufacturing organisations supply raw materials, drug substance, drug product and packaging for its commercial products and clinical trials. It has long-term agreements with them to support Attruby in the United States and Beyonttra in certain other markets.
As of 6 February 2026 its intellectual property portfolio held over 200 issued patents and over 300 patent applications, which it owns, co-owns or licenses. Licensors include Novartis for infigratinib and Stanford for acoramidis. Kyowa Kirin holds an exclusive licence to infigratinib in Japan.
Who it competes with
Attruby and Beyonttra compete with Vyndaqel and Vyndamax from Pfizer, Inc. and with vutrisiran from Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. If approved, infigratinib would compete with Voxzogo (vosoritide) from BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. Other companies developing achondroplasia therapies include Ascendis Pharma A/S, Tyra Biosciences, Inc. and Ribomic. The filing states that, to the company's knowledge, no therapies are approved for limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2I/R9, and none is approved specifically for ADH1.
