- Average system price fell 5%. Revenue fell mainly because average system price dropped 5%, tied to China OEM export volumes that carry less software content and lower pricing. Lower SuperVision volumes also weighed.
- EyeQ shipments outpaced vehicle production. EyeQ shipment volume rose 11% in the first nine months of 2026, while global automotive production declined an estimated 1% over the same period.
- SuperVision deliveries above expectations. SuperVision deliveries exceeded management's expectations. Pass-through of higher memory costs added about $7 million to revenue at zero gross margin.
- Systems shipped up, price down. Systems shipped were 9.5 million, up from 9.2 million a year earlier. Average system price was $49.1, down from $51.7.
- GAAP gross margin up, adjusted down. GAAP gross margin rose to 53% from 48%, on lower amortization of intangible assets. Adjusted gross margin fell to 64% from 67%, on lower EyeQ ASP and higher per-unit EyeQ costs.
- R&D Law grant lifted operating income. The Israeli R&D Law incentive grant added $52 million to GAAP operating income and $51 million to adjusted operating income in the quarter, lifting operating margins.
- Year-to-date grant benefit. Year to date, the R&D Law grant added $162 million to GAAP operating income and $144 million to non-GAAP operating income.
- Mix and memory costs cut corporate margin. Higher-than-expected SuperVision volume and memory cost pass-through together reduced corporate average gross margin by about 100 basis points versus expectations.
- Top 10 customers' shipments to grow 7%. Shipments to top 10 customers are expected to grow 7% in 2026, including safety stock changes, while their aggregate vehicle production is expected to fall 5%.
- Chinese OEMs expanding into emerging markets. Chinese OEMs are choosing Mobileye to support expansion into emerging markets, where standard ADAS is encouraging legacy OEMs to raise ADAS fitment rates.
- Cloud-Enhanced ADAS wins with two automakers. New Cloud-Enhanced ADAS design wins with a Top 5 Asian automaker and a Top 10 Japanese automaker support high-volume Level 2+ systems.

What the company does
Mobileye Global Inc. develops advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technology for automakers. It was founded in Israel in 1999, and its co-founder, Professor Amnon Shashua, is President and Chief Executive Officer. As of 27 December 2025, its solutions were installed in approximately 1,400 vehicle models, its System-on-Chips (SoCs) had been deployed in more than 230 million vehicles, and it was working with more than 50 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). In 2025 it shipped approximately 35.7 million EyeQ SoC and SuperVision systems, the substantial majority of them EyeQ SoCs. Substantially all of its revenue comes from commercially deployed ADAS solutions.
What it sells
- Base ADAS runs on a windshield-mounted EyeQ and provides front-camera features such as collision warning, lane departure warning, pedestrian and cyclist collision warning and speed limit indication. - Cloud-Enhanced ADAS adds crowd-sourced road data to a single-camera system without extra hardware. - Mobileye SuperVision is an eyes-on/hands-off system. It uses 11 cameras and a control unit with two EyeQ5 chips. It first reached series production in 2021 with Geely Group's ZEEKR brand, and over 350,000 systems had been delivered to ZEEKR, Polestar and other brands through the end of 2025. - Mobileye Surround ADAS uses one EyeQ6 High chip with a customer's own sensors, up to six cameras and up to five radars.
Chauffeur is an eyes-off/hands-off system for consumer vehicles. Drive is a no-driver system for robotaxis, public transport and goods delivery. Announced vehicle partners for Drive include Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and MOIA, Schaeffler, Verne and Holon. Announced customers include Deutsche Bahn, Beep, Holo / Ruter and Lyft.
How it earns money
EyeQ SoCs made up approximately 91% of revenue in 2025, and SuperVision made up the majority of the remainder. Products are typically sold with volume-based pricing, and revenue is recognised when they ship. The Tier 1 customers named include Aptiv, Magna, Valeo, ZF, Imotion, HL Klemov and Mobis. Because products must be customised and validated, Mobileye also keeps direct relationships with the OEMs.
The technology behind it
The company describes its platform as five pillars.
1. Computer vision processing, mostly from camera sensing. 2. Road Experience Management (REM), which builds maps from data uploaded by vehicles on the road. In 2025 it collected 34.5 billion miles of road data from, by its estimate, over 8 million REM-enabled vehicles. 3. Compound AI systems, including True Redundancy, which combines separate vision and radar/lidar views of the road. 4. Imaging radar. During 2025 a global automaker chose Mobileye Imaging Radar for its upcoming eyes-off, hands-off system, starting in 2028. 5. The EyeQ SoC family, with the Driving Experience Platform (DXP) software letting automakers customise the driving experience.
Mobileye also published a safety model called Responsibility Sensitive Safety (RSS) in 2017. It leads IEEE 2846, a working group of approximately 30 organisations.
Who makes the parts
Mobileye designs the front end of its chips and works with STMicroelectronics, which designs the back-end package. The two have co-developed six EyeQ generations. STMicroelectronics manufactures all EyeQ chips or outsources them to a partner foundry. Quanta Computer and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company help develop and assemble the control units. The company has also entered an agreement with TSMC to make parts of its imaging radar and some future EyeQ products.
Who it competes with
For ADAS and consumer autonomy, the filing names Tier 1 suppliers Bosch, Continental and Denso. Chip competitors include Ambarella, Advanced Micro Devices, Arriver / Qualcomm, NVIDIA, NXP, Renesas Electronics and Texas Instruments. Automakers building in-house systems, such as Tesla and Mercedes-Benz, are indirect competitors. In robotaxis it names Waymo, Zoox, Baidu, Pony.ai and WeRide, among others. On 3 February 2026 it acquired Mentee Robotics Ltd., a humanoid robotics company, where it faces Tesla, Figure AI, Agility Robotics and Boston Dynamics. Its Moovit transit app competes with Alphabet, Apple, Citymapper and Transit.
Its people and its owner
As of 27 December 2025 Mobileye had approximately 4,200 employees across seven countries. About 85% worked in research and development, and approximately 3,900 were in Israel. After a workforce reduction and the Mentee Robotics acquisition, it had approximately 4,130 employees as of 3 February 2026. It held 439 patents in the United States and 98 European patents, and the company does not view any single patent as material. Intel acquired Mobileye in 2017 and took it public again in October 2022. As of 3 February 2026 Intel beneficially owned approximately 77.0% of the common stock and 96.9% of the voting power, which lets it control matters put to stockholders. Mobileye also holds a limited licence from Intel for core radar technology.
