What the company said with its results
From the second quarter of 2026 results, filed 12 August 2026.
- Record second-quarter revenue reported. Revenue was $217.7 million, up 23.7% from $176.0 million a year earlier. Six-month revenue was $458.4 million, up 19.4%, and the release calls the quarter a record.
- Every service line grew revenue. Management said every service line posted revenue growth in the quarter and the six months, with no reliance on one-time items to drive results.
- Client additions and volumes cited. Management attributed revenue growth to client additions, higher volumes and continued service line expansion.
- Revenue came in above prior range. The prior release gave a second-quarter revenue range of $190 million to $205 million; reported second-quarter revenue of $217.7 million was above that range.
- Net loss reflects equity compensation. The company reported a net loss of $10.1 million, or $0.08 basic and $0.09 diluted per share, which management ties to non-cash equity-based compensation of $48.3 million in the quarter.
- Adjusted net income up 38.8%. Adjusted net income was $39.0 million, up 38.8% from $28.1 million. For the six months it was $106.3 million, up 27.5%, and management said it grew faster than revenue.

- Adjusted EBITDA margin range kept. The full-year Adjusted EBITDA margin range of about 23% to 25% was reaffirmed.
- Service line mix shifted toward Business Tax. Private Client Services was 47.1% of quarterly revenue, down from 49.8%; Business Tax Services was 39.2%, up from 35.5%. Management said the mix has largely been stable over five years.
- Regional revenue shares moved. United States East rose to 39.1% of quarterly revenue from 37.6%, West fell to 41.1% from 43.7%, and Central fell to 17.3% from 18.7%. International was 2.5%, from none a year earlier.
