- Europe steady across end markets. Management described Europe as steady across all end markets, driven by the ongoing replacement and upgrade cycle.
- Vended mix shifted to larger machines. North America growth was supported by a demand mix shift toward larger-capacity machines in the Vended market.
- Commercial-in-Home grew on durability demand. Management said Commercial-in-Home posted growth, which it linked to consumers seeking higher reliability, longer product life and durability.
- Multi-Housing and On-Premise steady. Management said Multi-Housing and On-Premise delivered solid results, tied to predictable replacement demand in those end markets.
- Gross margin 39.8%, up about 90 basis points. Gross profit rose 9% to $190 million, a gross margin of 39.8%, about 90 basis points higher than the prior year quarter.

What the company does
Alliance Laundry Holdings Inc. designs and manufactures commercial laundry systems, and describes itself as the world's largest company in that field. It sells washers, dryers, service parts and related services under five brands: Speed Queen, Huebsch, UniMac, IPSO and Primus. It operates six manufacturing facilities and sells through approximately 600 distributors. As of 31 December 2025 it employed 3,923 full-time and 50 part-time employees.
How the business is organised
The company reports two segments. North America covers the United States and Canada and made up 74% of 2025 revenue. International covers every other country and made up the remaining 26%. Across both segments it serves three end markets. On-Premise Laundry covers businesses such as healthcare facilities, fire stations and hotels that wash large volumes in support of their own operations. Vended covers laundromats and communal laundry operators whose customers pay per use. Commercial In-Home covers households that buy commercial machines.
The company estimates it holds approximately 40% of the commercial laundry market in North America. It says it believes it is the number one supplier by market share in Latin America and Asia Pacific (excluding China), and the number three supplier in Europe. It has direct sales offices in France, Spain, Italy and Brazil.
What it sells
The range runs from small-chassis washers and dryers to large-chassis equipment with load capacities of up to 400 pounds. Washer extractors handle 20 to 400 pounds per load. Topload washers handle up to 16 pounds and are sold mainly to communal laundry room operators and home users. Tumblers dry up to 200 pounds per load, and small-chassis dryers handle up to 18 pounds. A combination washer and dryer, introduced in 2021, is sold mainly in Asia Pacific and Latin America.
Beyond machines, the company sells service parts for its installed base, and its online parts program supports more than 150,000 parts. It also sells detergents and other chemicals, and runs an equipment financing program for end customers, mostly laundromat owners, with terms of two to twelve years.
It is sold under names such as Speed Queen Insights, Huebsch Command, Primus i-Trace, IPSO Connect and UniMac Core.
Who buys from it
About 71% of global revenue comes through independent third-party distributors, who resell to equipment users and operators. Direct sales to communal laundry room operators make up about 9% of revenue. Sales through the company's domestic and international sales offices make up about 13% and 6%. The top ten distributors accounted for about 30% of 2025 revenue, and no single distributor accounted for more than 5%. Approximately 94% of North American distributors have been with the company for ten years or more.
In North America's Commercial In-Home market, distributors sell through independent appliance retailers to consumers. The company says it does not sell through "Big Box" stores.
Where it makes things
The six facilities cover approximately 2.7 million square feet. The U.S. plants build small-chassis topload and frontload washers and dryers as well as large-chassis machines. The other plants build large-chassis washer extractors and dryers, and the Czech plant also builds barrier washers and ironers. The company calls this a "local for local" strategy. Current global production is at approximately 84% of capacity.
Its engineering group of approximately 207 people works from hubs in the U.S., the Czech Republic and Thailand. Key inputs are motors, stainless and carbon steel, aluminum castings, electronic controls, corrugated boxes and plastics. Steel is the largest single input. The company has some single- and sole-source suppliers.
How it competes
The company describes its industry as highly fragmented, with few global players and many small regional ones. It says it is approximately two times larger than the next competitor in its commercial end markets. In Commercial In-Home, its products compete mainly against high-priced residential machines from consumer brands.
The company says its machines sell at a price premium because of reliability and total cost of ownership. Its products are subject to rules from agencies including the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Federal Trade Commission, Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration, along with energy and water efficiency standards.
Its people
That includes 674 in the Czech Republic, 354 in Thailand, 74 in China and 38 in France. The United Steelworkers union represents 1,691 employees at the Wisconsin facilities under a contract that expires 28 February 2027.
